Throughout 2025, we partnered with Whatsapp to design and deliver 40 in-app messaging videos.

The goal was to create thumb-stopping animations.

Working closely with several departments, we developed a cohesive, modular video system.

By blending live action and illustration

we built immersive experiences that fostered brand trust and meaningful connection

Our role spanned from conceptual development to final delivery

shaping design into motion metaphors through iterative design and storytelling.

First: we start laying out (a lot of) ideas and concepts on paper

This helps building a creative dialogue with client, listening to their needs and implementing it in creative ways.

Second: we keep exploring and start linking selected ideas to the functional story

We investigate Characters, poses, feelings, moods, always looking for a human touch

Every element and action is meant to visually represent function and message

Then - with some helpful concepts and ideas - we get to storyboarding

here things get gradually more refined, ideas are implemented in a storyline and tested over and over

Storyboarding is where the most interesting part happens: the story unravels and tailoring it to clients need is what we’re here for
